InMyEar respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use InMyEar, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Process
When you create or use an InMyEar account, we may process account information such as your email address, account identifier, and subscription status.
When you request an analysis, you may submit conversation text, screenshots, or other content. That content may contain information about you or other people.
We may also process limited technical and usage information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, enforce free-use limits, and maintain security. Rate limiting may use hashed or otherwise minimized network identifiers.
2. AI Data Sharing
InMyEar uses OpenAI, a third-party artificial intelligence service, to analyze conversation text and screenshots that you choose to submit.
InMyEar requests your consent before sending submitted content to the AI service. If you choose not to allow AI data sharing, the analysis will not proceed.
Data sent through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain API data for limited periods for safety, abuse monitoring, legal, or service-operation purposes in accordance with its policies.
3. Storage of Submitted Conversations
InMyEar does not intentionally store the raw conversation text or screenshots you submit in its application database after the analysis request has been processed.
Certain service providers may temporarily process or retain data as necessary to provide their services, comply with law, maintain security, or prevent abuse.
4. Service Providers
InMyEar relies on third-party providers to operate the service, including:
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
These providers process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and data-processing obligations.
5. Payments
Web subscription payments are processed by Stripe. InMyEar does not receive or store your full payment card number. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information as necessary to complete purchases and manage subscriptions.
6. How We Use Information
Information is used to provide conversation analysis, authenticate accounts, determine subscription access, enforce usage limits, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate and improve InMyEar.
7. Selling and Advertising
InMyEar does not sell the conversation text or screenshots you submit. Submitted conversations are not used by InMyEar for targeted advertising.
8. Your Responsibilities
Please avoid submitting information that is unnecessary for the analysis. You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate basis to submit content involving another person.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information processed through InMyEar. However, no internet service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Requests and Account Questions
You may contact us to ask questions about your information or request available deletion or privacy actions.
